I have a error message that comes up that says d3dx9_37.dll is missing. what do I do to fix this problem. My games was working fine until I got the new dish hopper and trying using their sling to watch dish online but never could. And now I get that d3dx9_37.dll error when I try playing my wildtangent games. Help please.

    If your Wildtangent games were working before it may be the  d3dx9_37.dll has become corrupt.

    So, two things to try;

    1)  Run the Direct X Web installer. This will install any 'missing' DX files, so if the file is in fact

    missing (error messages are not always exact) the Web Installer will install one.

    If the file is corrupt it will not be fixed by the Web Installer as it does not overwrite the DX files.

    Download DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Official Microsoft Download Center

    2)  If the file is corrupt then  you can delete the file from System32 & sysWOW64.

    Navigate to your Windows Folder > C:\ Windows \ System32 and look for the d3dx9_37.dll .

    Delete this and then do the same  in the Windows \ sysWow folder.

    Run the Web Installer and it will install a new d3dx9_37.dll into each folder.

    b) - You could also download the full Direct X runtime installer package. This will overwrite

    all the existing DX files.

    Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - DirectX Redist (June 2010)

    If you continue having problems you may need to invistigate what the  dish hopper is

    doing that may be causing this problem. Maybe a topic for another forum.
