A Microsoft Partner is distributing malware?

The company behind a "PC Optimizer Pro" malware program seems to be a Microsoft certified companu. This is quite ironic as you can clearly see that the PC Optimizer Pro is Malware. Anyway, Microsoft, please do something about this, because you certainly don't want one of your partners to be distributing malware.

So here is the link to the Microsoft partner page:

http://pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-IN/partners/Xportsoft-Technologies-4298696910?LocId=289313295755470

And if we search for PC Optimizer Pro, there are more results saying its malware rather than a legitimate program such as this one:

Or this one:

SO ONCE AGAIN, MICROSOFT, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!

I do not know if I will go so far as to say that it is malware, but it certainly is not good. At the very least I would call it scamware, which to be honest, is pretty much malware. It may not affect the performance of your system, but it will affect the performance of your savings account.

Thank you for these links. They were very fun to read, and strengthened my already-anti point of view against such software.

I can't say that it is or isn't, but the link you cited is far from a trusted source.

I'm pretty sure that the product is more likely classed as a PUP or potentially unwanted program/adware.

Your 2nd link is to a site dedicated to having people purchase their "free" spyware removal tool.

While I don't personally use or recommend PC Optimizer or any similar program, it isn't malware.

I don't use stuff like that either, but is their any proof to say that it isn't malware? Lots of trusted blogs and such identify it as malware, and it looks pretty much like malware to me.
