Hi I am unable to open the link that you have suggested for chrome

    https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95346?hl=en

the moment I click on the link  it gives me a message that IE is opening this... in compatibility mode and I get a blank page.

I have just bought a new system with windows 8 and had installed Torch... it worked for a few days and now I am unable to use either that or install any other browser... I have downloaded but when I Run it as Administrator it goes into a verifying system mode and then nothing happens

     .

    can u pls help

    Thanks

Is uninstalling and then reinstalling an option for Google Chrome?

Try right-clicking on the actual Setup.exe and selecting the "Run As Administrator" option?  Do so even if your user is an Admin.
