Method 1:
I suggest you to run the SFC (System File Checker) scan.

Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7.

Method 2:
I suggest you to perform clean boot and check.

Note:
After performing clean boot start the computer in normal mode.
Follow the steps to start the computer in normal mode.
a.
Click Start, type
msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press Enter. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, you should type the password or click
Continue.
b.
On the General tab, click the
Normal Startup option, and then click OK.
c.
When you are prompted to restart the computer, click
Restart.
