HELP! I'm a Steam Community gamer and one day I turned on my laptop to find the screen colors had gone negative. I've run multiple virus checks and even uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics driver to try and solve this problem. I used to be able to temporarily solve it by signing out and back in again, but now it's permanently negative, ruining my experience and opinion of both this iOS and this product. Solution needed ASAP!

    Hello Jonny!

Perhaps your kid opened the Magnifier and Inverted the Colors.

    Try this:

    1. Open the Task Manager
    2. Find and End THIS PROGRAM: Microsoft Screen Magnifier.
    3. Open Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Optimize Visual Display -> Uncheck "Turn on Magnifier"
    4. Click Apply

    Hope This Helps.

    1 ASUS Q500a-BSI5N04

2 I have not tried to reinstall it from the manufacturer's website, I merely uninstalled it and let the windows updater take care of it, as I read in a separate thread from a user experiencing a similar problem.

I have attempted method 1 before but to no avail, and I just tried method 2 and came up with the same result.

    the issue persists

    Hi Jonny,

    1. What is the make and model of the laptop?
    2. Have you reinstalled the graphics card driver from manufacturer's website?

I would suggest you to follow these methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Try to calibrate the display. Follow these steps:

    a. Press Windows key + X, choose Control Panel.

    b. Type calibrate display on the search box, and then click Calibrate display color.‌

    c. In Display Color Calibration, click Nextto continue and follow the onscreen instructions.

Method 2: If that does not help, I would suggest you to change the Windows theme and check if it helps.

    a. Go to the desktop, right click and choose Personalize .

    b. Click on the WINDOWS Default themes, under the 3 default windows themes. Choose one of the theme and save the settings. This will turn off any high contrast if it is enabled.

    Check the issue now.

Let us know if it helps. If the issue persists, please reply, we will be happy to help you.
