16bit programs on Windows Vista 64

My hard drive with Vista 32 failed and was reloaded with Vista 64. I have several 16 bit programs that I am unable to load and run now. I've tried Program Compatibility and Virtual PC, neither works. Is there a work around.

No. But if you install a OS that can run 16 bit programs into Virtual PC it should work there.

Windows 32 bit runs 16 bit dos, 16 bit windows (both in an emulator), and 32 bit Windows, 32 bit Unix, and in older Windows OS/2 as sub systems.

Windows 64 adds 64 bit but 16 bit support is removed.
