    Hello Valentin,

When you uninstall the drivers from Device Manager, they are still present on the PC. So, uninstalling them you also have to check the Check the ‘Delete the driver software for this device’ box.

    1.       Did you try deleting the driver while uninstalling it as suggested in the previous post?

After uninstalling and deleting the device drivers, try installing the drivers that you want.

If you are still facing the issue after fallowing all the suggestions, I would suggest you to contact the equipment manufacturer and get the proper driver installed with their help.

Please reply back with the results to let us help your further.

    Regards,

    Deepak.

There no options to delete this driver because this is generic driver for group of devises I find him but can't delete him in system driver folder so I email to manufacturer but didn't received any answer and now my WiFi devise is useless - it is bad idea in Windows 7 to can't be used Installation Wizard  like Windows XP - I try in my old computer with Windows XP to instal this WiFi and no was problems like this- driver of WiFi  is installed by the program of manufacturer but it must be installed before Windows to instal the driver and in Windows 7 this is impossible - my be trouble is in manufacturer program for Windows 7 because she can't overwrite  generic driver .So I my be sell  this WiFi device because I don't use my old computer.

    Hi Valentin,

Firstly delete both the device and driver from the system.

    1. Open Device Manager.
    2. Right click on your device and click uninstall.
    3. In the next Window, Check the ‘Delete the driver software for this device’ box
    4. Click on OK.
    5. This will uninstall and delete the drive.

You can disable Windows update from searching for a driver.

    Check the link : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc730606(v%3Dws.10).aspx

Also follow the steps below to Turn off Windows 7 Automatic Driver Installation, follow the steps below:

    1.       In the Start Menu search box : type ‘change device installation settings

    2.       Once the Window that opens up – ‘Yes, do this automatically ( recommended ).’

When the option is selected the options expand.

    3.       When it is expanded you see a default choice and this is basically the same as the automatic option above. The other two choices are the big difference here.

    • Install driver software from Windows Update if it is not found on my computer. This will search your computer first instead of Windows Update. If it is not found locally then it will go to Windows Update and look there for a driver.
    • Never install driver software from Windows Update. The system will always ask you to provide the device driver.
    • We want to enable "Never install driver software from Windows Update"
    • Then click on Save Changes

    4.     Now your Windows won't automatically download drivers.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
