I bought a stylus (thats for all touchscreens) but it does not seem to work properly for example I can make a line with my finger but with the stylus it comes out like streaks little chunks of lines on my dell inspiron15 laptop.  I tried to calibrate the pen in (pen and touch settings ) but it does not work.

    Hi,

What is the make and model number of the Stylus?

As you are not facing the issue while using the finger, there are chances that it might have occurred due to hardware. I would suggest you try using a different stylus or try the same stylus on a different computer.

Let us know the results. If you need further assistance, we’re here to assist.

    Hello,

    Thank You for replying back.

I understand that you have issues while using the stylus.

So, I would suggest you to try the steps mentioned below to fix the issue.

Method 1: Firstly try to install the latest Windows Updates for the device and see if that helps.

Method 2: If the above doesn't work then, try to un-install and then re-install the display card drivers and install the latest drivers from computer manufacturer website.

    a) Go to control panel.

    b) open Device manager.

    c) Right click on the Stylus device.

    d) and select uninstall.

The stylus is Artist hardware Sensu Capacitive brush and stylus. No I am not facing the issue with my finger. This is the second stylus I have tried. In order to get a straight line it requires a lot of pressure on the stylus and get draw easily and I cant calibrate it either.

    Thank you
