Getting an IAStorIcon.exe - Application Error

after I upgrade I am getting such errors daily

eg: vaio gate app error, photos app error,IAStorIcon.exe error, etc.,

I would suggest you to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan and check if it helps.

You may also try updating latest version of BIOS, chipset drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check if it makes any difference.

1.      When do you get this error message?

2.      What is the make and model of the computer?

3.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

IAStorIcon.exe is part of IAStorIcon developed by Intel Corporation. The program is related to Intel Rapid Recover Technology (part of Intel Matrix Storage Technology).

I would suggest you to place the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
