    Hi Babu,

    • Have you tried the suggestions provided earlier? What are the results?

I would suggest you to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan and check if it helps.

You may also try updating latest version of BIOS, chipset drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check if it makes any difference.

Note: Modifying BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

Please update us the results. We will be happy to assist you further.

    Hi Babu,

    1.      When do you get this error message?

    2.      What is the make and model of the computer?

    3.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

IAStorIcon.exe is part of IAStorIcon developed by Intel Corporation. The program is related to Intel Rapid Recover Technology (part of Intel Matrix Storage Technology).

I would suggest you to place the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

Note: To reset the computer to normal mode after troubleshooting, please refer “**How to reset the computer to start as usual”**from the above article.

Hope this information helps. If you have any concerns, please let us know.
