    Hello,

Press Windows Key + R, type secpol.msc in Run dialog box and hit Enter. This will open Local Security Policies window instantaneously.

Hope this helps, Good luck :)

It seems that secpol.msc is available only in Windows 8 Pro.

There may be another solution, but I hacked the registry

In Windows 8.1, Using regedit I searched for EnableLUA

    found it at

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

    Set the value of

    EnableLUA   to 0

The particular piece of software I was trying to use now works, but I don't know what the other consequences are...

    Hi,

I've already tried looking for the file through the Run command and also the search at Start but the LSP still can't be found.
