    Hi,

When do you get this error message?

Igfxpers.exe is a process installed alongside the NVidia graphics cards and provides additional configuration options for these devices. You should try reinstalling your Graphics Driver and see if it corrects the problem.

**Method 1:**To uninstall graphics card driver, follow these steps.

    a. Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌ If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    b. In Device Manager, locate the graphics device you want to uninstall, and then double-click the device name.

Click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall driver and follow the instructions.

To install the driver again, follow these articles.

**Method 2:**Non-system processes like igfxpers.exe originate from software you installed on your system. As most applications store data in your system's registry, it is likely that your registry has suffered fragmentation and accumulated harmful errors.

Step 1: To find out which thir-party program is causing this issue, check in a Clean boot state.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windowshttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

**Important:**After troubleshooting, make sure to place the computer back to normal Startup Mode by following the same article.

    Step 2:

    Also, run a virus scanner.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

Let us know if it helps. If the issue persists, please reply, we will be happy to assist you further.
