Outlook GPO breaks Teams meeting form

Hi,

We are implementing Outlook Add-ins management via GPO (the admx templates are the latest), but once I enabled the GPO the invitation email has a broken HTML view.

I would appreciate any help you could give me!

According to your description, your issue seems more related to outlook. I will remove teams tag from your thread, hope you get better response.

Hi @Anahaym ,
Yes, you can add it via the path below:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\outlook\Resiliency

Or just add the Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1 add-in into your List of managed add-ins via GPO. Both methods should work the same.

strange, I've tried already this via GPO and it didn't work. Looks like I made a mistake because it works now.

Looks like you just did not grant value to the "Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1" key,

Hi @Anahaym ,

I did do the same tests as yours and just got the same result. These registry values can indeed block all other add-ins and enable Teams add-ins as we wish. However, it looks like that there are some other factors which would influence Teams Meeting display that has been blocked by these registry values as well. I tried much research but have not got any useful information yet.

Is this add-ins management a must operation? If possible, it is more suggested for you to cancel this operation to make things back to normal.

Thank you for your answer. Currently we are only testing this possibility to block unwished add-ins. We need to find a solution as our IS department insists to have it enabled.

Thanks for your reply. How is everything going now?
I did some more test about your issue and found that when we add both Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1 and TeamsAddin.FastConnect to the managed add-in list and keep them both enabled, the Teams meeting form can just work fine. It should worth a shot. Hope this can solve your issue then.
