Hello,
I was just at the VLC player website and talk about user UN-friendly. All I would like to know is how to get the program added to the 'All Programs'.and Start Menu. I have been trying with no success. I would like easier access to it. I use both VLC and WMP.
Thanks,
Anne

This has absolutely nothing to do with Internet Explorer web browser. Ask in the forum that covers your Windows version.
Hello RTR,
Thanks for the heads up. Sometimes I am not certain whether to go to the Windows section or IE. I will take my query to the right department now.
Thanks,
Anne
Post a screen shot of the start menu list,
Verify how many programs are allowed to be listed on it as well,
I doubt you can use the windows snipping tool to take a screen shot of the start menu list ?
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Use-Snipping-Tool-to-capture-screen-shots
Take screen shots,
Usually you can hold down the Shift key (could also be the Alt key) or (FN key on a laptop) and press the prtscrn key,
Then open microsoft Paint, and click on the Paste button on the top left.
Paint is located in the Accessories folder in All programs from the start button,
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Using-Paint
Then click on the blue file button and click on Save as, click on jpeg file type and name the file.

Hello TZ,
The links you gave me do not seem to apply to my situation. I have more than enough space in my start menu. The VLC program is not even listed in my 'All Programs' list. If I at least had it there I can always pin to my Start menu and/or taskbar. With that said, my immediate need is to add VLC to my 'All Programs' list.
Thanks,
Anne
