Ok, recently Windows Store in 8.1 stopped working.

whenever i open it, it doesn't open, but get stuck in endless loop. and suddenly two programs - 'windows store' & some times 'store broker' in task manger get spiked up consuming more than 70 percent of my cpu.

Recently i did a system restore and also un-installed antivirus.

I also did this (as i got from some tech blog - but did not work)-

type or paste the following command:

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

hit Enter.

Now in that same Administrator Command Prompt type or paste: start "" "ms-windows-store:"

I also tried app troubleshooters from microsoft, but none of them worked.

    Hi,

It looks like there could be some corrupted files, we need to analyze and repair them. Let's follow the steps provided here.

    Method 1: Reset Store Cache

I would suggest you to reset the store cache and check the results.

    1.       Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.

    2.       Enter run in the search box, and then tap or click Run.

    3.       Enter wsreset.exe in the Run command and then tap or click OK.
