    Hi all,

The Health Report in Windows 8.1 is not gone. It changed the way you issue it and manage it.

    Here is the new location:

Press the Windows Key + R Then type perfmon.

Once the Performance Monitor is open, check here:

Then right click the System Diagnostics or System Performance (depends on which report you want to generate) and click on Start. This will start collecting the report.

Once this is started, the report will be logged in here:

    Then click to view it.

Microsoft has done it in newer Windows versions to facilitate for Systems Administrators to keep a track of the generated reports based on dates so they can compare them more easily if they need to.

    Hope I have helped.

You can press +R and run PerfMon to open the Performance Monitor and explore, but the auto-generated report is gone in Windows 8.1

When looking at the Event Viewer, make sure you are an Administrator.

For a high-level overview, you can also use the Action Center, which monitors the health of the computer.  It will highlight any problems it finds, and give you links to help fix it.  Or if you want, you can use the Reliability History (highlighted below) for a more user-friendly timeline of issues than the normal event viewer.
