ISO INFECTED BY A VIRUS

i ran a full system scan with avast 

now it said that one of my iso files which is a game is infected by a win32: kryptic tms trojan

but can not unpack it to clean because its not supported

im afraid of mounting the iso and then scanig it again because maybe it will start spreading

how can i best go about cleaning my pc

    You should contact Avast support as we can't help you with their products.

    IMO, if trojan is inside ISO then it is harmless. When you will extract it and run it then it can be a threat. While extracting ISO Real Time Protection of Avast should detect it and take necessary action against it. You should contact ISO's source and ask for uninfected ISO.

    Another chance may be that that ISO is not infected, avast is showing false positive, but you should not take chances.

    There is a chance that this is false positive. If the game is not stolen / torrent-downloaded, then it might be that the file is some sort of copy protection/license handling one. 

    If the game is ripped off... well.

    Get a Linux machine and scan the iso with ClamAV.
