How to get drivers for SSD drive?

Original Title - SSD Drivers

Installed a Seagate ST240HM000 SSD.  Windows installed drivers from 2006 and that they the best drivers. This SSD was not around in 2006. Can some one, please tell me how to install the latest drivers.

    You don't need to update drivers for SSD.

    You may want to check for updates to the motherboard SATA controller though.

    Do this on the web site for your motherboard mfg, or in the case of OEM machines (DELL, etc)

    their web site.

    Sometimes they do suggest updating the Firmware for SSD's.

    The Seagate forums or support would be the best place to find if your SSD should have a Firmware update .
