System

 Windows XP

Media Center Edition

Version 2005

Service Pack 3

C:\Windows\INF\I386

I captured the screen and ended up with a file called I386.bmp in pictures and in C:\Windows\INF\I386.bmp.

Using system restore  can not be part of the solution.: All I get is: “No change has been made to your computer”.

I now realize that Imight have deleted a folder and not a file

Would copy i386 folder from C:\windows\servicepackfiles\I386 to C:\windows\INF solve my problem ?

I also have i386 on Disk 1 of Windows XP Media Centre Edition Version 2005.

I would also delete the file i386.bmp from c:\windows\INF

Thanks

Serge

Not until you answer the questions I asked in that other new thread, no.

Chances are the problems are related.
