Directx 9.0c for windows 7 64 bit

Hi, i have a winstars AV grabber that requires DirectX 9.0c to run, but it says its not compatible with my version of windows which is windows 7 64 bit, is there any other alternative or solution? i have a HP Pavillion dv6 if it helps. Thanks.

    The box that you see is for you to put a location (folder) where the Directx files will be extracted to. This can be anywhere. Create a folder in Downloads named DirectX for example.  Then select Browse in the box you referenced and point to the folder you created. Once the files are extracted to that folder.  then you will go in that folder and run (double click on) the DXsetup.exe file.

    It is not a developer tool.

    I downloaded from the link given and when installing, a box came up asking for the location for installation - the box was labeled DirectX9.0c SDK.

    Is this the right download?  If so, where should it be installed?

    I'm not a developer and my limited knowledge tells me this is a developer tool!

    I'm on Win7 Home Premium
