I was able to send multiple files from my android phone in windows 7 via Bluetooth.  Now it seems i have to click 'receive a file' each time i want to transfer.  How do i set my PC to always accept and send files from my phone to a specific location such as the desktop?

So clearly you're not reading the question he is asking. The problem (which I am having as well) is after the devices are paired, and you attempt to transfer MULTIPLE files, it asks for your permission every single file instead of one time for all the files in that one transfer. Is there a way to designate a device that you can transfer to without asking for permission?

    Hi Pranav

I know this is an old thread, but it is still relevant for many, many people.

As an MS Support Engineer do you really think it is acceptable that users cannot do multiple bluetooth transfers?  Surely Microsoft can see that this is a very useful facility.

What, my friend, is the solution to this question?  If it cannot be achieved as Windows 8 stands is a solution being worked on?  Do you think it is practical to expect users to have to transfer one file at a time?

I await your reply with interest

    Andy

I already have the phone paired and can send 'a' file, I cannot send multiple files.  I want to set the phone as an 'always receive' device.  In Windows 7 i was able to send from my phone to my desktop and all i had to do is select the file on the phone and send via Bluetooth.  The PC would ask me if it was okay with a pop up window, i would select yes and then the transfer happened.  I did not have to do it individually and i did not have to access the PC until after the transfer was started.

again, yes i know how to do this.  I want to transfer more than one file at once.  I had no problem doing this in windows 7.  For example i would send 5 pictures to my desktop from my phone in one transfer.

I need to sent 500 files to my windows 10 machine via Bluetooth.  it will only transfer 1 file at a time.  this is odd to me because in win7 I could queue up as many as I wanted after I set my machine to autorecieve after I paired it.

I see no such options on win10.

Where are these options located in win10?
