Have already +tried support and had to do another reset thanks to them. This product is not going to run on my Computer and I bet a lot of others. I have contacted my Bank and told no thanks I will get by without their junk. On a scale of 1-10 I give in a -10!
Trusteer(Rapport) End Point Protection. WARNING!
Been Having problems will System Config and Apps & Programs just stop working since the release of Windows 8.1 on Oct 18 2013. This has been gradually getting worse. Nothing I tried worked until Tues this week. Did a Factory Restore and update to Windows 8.1u1. After 24 hrs I install my Microsoft Office and Cyberlink Media Suite 11. No issues at all so added Trusteer Endpoint Protection and immediately couldn't Access Event Viewer, System Config, Control Panel etc, and programs and Apps started stopping. Removed Trusteer Endpoint protection, an things are back to normal but my Computer is so slow I am going to have to do another reset in order to get everything back to normal. My advice if your Bank or anyone ask you to install this software DON'T.

2015-06-21T00:28:33+00:00 I note the above with interest. I had Rapport installed on my PC for a few years with no problems at all. Recently I took advantage of an update to Trusteer Endpoint Protection. Since then I have had problems which eventually necessitated a live chat session with IBM. I followed their instructions regarding accessing the console (I could not), stopping the program (I could not) etc. To cut a long story short, I decided to remove it today when I could not log on to the internet. It was very difficult to remove and even after the process was completed, folders were still on the hard drive and when I went into Task Manager there it was running quite happily. I think I have now removed it successfully but wish I had not updated. What have IBM done with this program?

2014-04-24T01:30:14+00:00 Update Rapport send me an email and said they wanted to do a remote session download it themselves and fix it ASAP. Well I gave them my phone and when I would be available but do you know that the first time they are available is May 12 at 9:00AM Boy I hate to see how long I would have to wait if they didn't want to fix ASAP. I was right it is junk and should be avoided.

2014-04-20T20:38:08+00:00 Well good for you but your experience doesn't helps someone with the Problem. It is like Windows 8/8.1 some of us have no problems with it like it the way it was originally release while others here **** and moan that it is a piece of Junk. See it all is a matter of perspective.

2015-06-26T00:46:44+00:00 I second this for some reason it decides to use all your resources.
It was using over 50% of the CPU on the brand new family laptop, more than World of Warcraft was using!
The fan was working overtime. Ive uninstalled it and everything is back to normal.
I also find it very suspicious how it went to extreme lengths to try to convince you to not uninstall it but I dont like installing anything that is suggested to me by any website, over-causious but atleast it keeps my system in order.
My advice - UNINSTALL IT! and buy trustworthy Internet security software, that looks after all aspects of your internet usage.
