Hi,
What is the model of your HP computer?
It might happen if your computers monitors screens refresh rate is too low. You can reduce or eliminate flicker by increasing the screen refresh rate. A refresh rate of at least 75 hertz generally produces less flicker.
- Open “Control Panel”, click the "Adjust Screen Resolution" under the “Appearance and Personalization”.
- Click on the "Advanced Settings".
- Click on the Monitor tab.
- Click on the drop down arrow under the "Screen Refresh Rate" and select the option to higher or lower the "Refresh Rate" for your Monitor and click "**Apply",**click "OK".
**Note:**Try to set it to 60Hz or 75Hz.
If the issue still persists, start your computer in safe mode with networking and check the functionality. If the issue does not persist, uninstall display adapter drivers, restart the computer in normal mode.
Refer this link to start the computer in safe mode.

Reisntall the sound card drivers from device manager and check if the head phone works.
• Press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc in the run prompt.
• Expand the Sound, video and game controllers, right-click the sound card, click uninstall.
• Restart the computer, let Windows detect the driver and install by itself.
Keep us posted on the status of the issue.
