Need simultaneous bluetooth and HDMI audio

I am using a new as a home theater server.  Have Windows 7 Home Premium and use Windows Media Center to view and record TV as well as view photos and play music collection.  I am unable to use bluetooth headset to listen to the PC at the same time as the HDMI cable sends audio to the TV set and speakers.  If I turn on the bluetooth, it turns off the audio from the HDMI.  How do I get both to play simultaneously?  Thank you!!!

I know this is a year old thread. but there is a way as i was looking for my computer to do 3 outputs at once. but before i had 2 outputs sorted, i had audio jack and hdmi. it's same concept. go to control panel>sound>recording>right click in blank space>Show disabled devices>Right click stereo mix>Enable>Stereo mix properties>listen>tick listen to device and then set device you want sound to play from. so make a default playing device and then in stereo mix choose the second output.

EDIT: This will not work if you have 5.1 digital optical connection on your system. The system can convert analog audio to digital and play them simultaneously but not the other way around. and if you convert analog to digital, it'll only do it as stereo sound. no matter the set up.

    hope this helped.

This is a ridiculous Windows restriction of the ability of our hardware.  There are numerous scenarios where users of a home theater PC would want to output audio from more than one output at the same time.  This is a Windows restriction.  The hardware is capable.  Rather than setting a "default" output, we need the ability to turn each output on or off independently. I should think it would be a relatively simple programming task to make it so. Please do it.

hi, the stereo mix usually (always?) doesn't work with two digital outputs, only with the analogue plus a digital.

So, Bluetooth plus HDMI can't use this solution.

This really sucks, I need to have my bluetooth AND my HDMI being able to play in the same time. This is BS!!!! I will find a way to go around Microsoft restrictive ways!

Ok, how do you explain when ,let say, my speakers are playing and when I push on test for , let say, headset (sound-playback-test), I can hear both at the same time?

Still impossible to play 2 sources at the same time, hum!?!?
