How to turn off Xbox 360 cortroller vibration

Every time my controller vibrates it turns it self off.I downloaded this driver http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows. How do I turn off vibration. Please help

    Press the middle button then go to setting-preferences - vibration then click A and it will turn off for every game.

    Not true.. Try Valentino Rossi the game! I am searching for a solution. Cant manage to turn it off. Not even with the home button

    The question was how to turn this off in Windows. The answer you posted only works in Xbox 360/One. Not happy that a Microsoft employee thanks you for this incorrect answer, lol.

    Controller vibration is turned on/off in each game's controller options menu.
