I am having some Windows issues and want to chat with a tech, so entered my PID, and it says the product number does not correspond with the country I have registered, which is incorrect, as I am sure I registered USA as that is my residence.  How do I change this--where is the tools option located?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if the issue persists.

To change the home location for your PC to a specific country or region

    1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.) 2. In the search box, enter region, and then, in the results, tap or click Change your country or region. 3. Select the country or region for your location from the list.

Please post back your results for further assistance.

Email was returned. error message is something to the effect of the PID number I used was not supported in the country i selected.   I checked and rechecked the product id number, and i am typing it correctly.  also I checked my profile, and it says USA, which is where I live and where the computer is.  Why would it not support this in the US?
