*Note: my sound is working but only 2.1 speakers and let only. (my laptop Fujitsu Core I3)

i'v tried many things such as uninstalling my sound driver and installing apps to improve that but nothing working.

even Realtek HD Sound Manager is not helping and Speakers type is not opining to choose 5.1 speakers.

also tried to download different Realtek audio manager never helped with the latest updates.

and my researches never stopped  about that and nothing helping!

So please help?

    Hi Jxoxe,

The issue may occur due to driver compatibility issues. Let’s try the following steps and check:

    Step 1:

Uninstall the Creative sound card drivers and check.

    a. Press Windows key + X on the desktop Screen and select Device manager.

    b. Expand Sound, video and game controllers, right-click on driver and select ‘uninstall’.

    c. Restart the computer and check.

    Step 2:

If the issue persists, you may download the drivers from Creative Support. If they have only Windows 8 drivers, then trying installing it in Windows 8 compatibility mode:

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

    a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

    b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

    c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu.

Hope the information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance with Windows related issues. We will be happy to help.

    Hi,

Ensure to have the latest Creative sound blaster installed on the computer.

You may download the latest audio drivers from the computer manufacturer’s website, uninstall the existing audio driver and install the downloaded driver. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Further, ensure to have the computer up to date with Windows Updates.
