hi,

some days ago i was trying to use a software to record the screen, but i noticed that it wasn't showing my webcam (Lifecam VX-800) as a record input like usually...i went to check in the devices manager and my webcam was no longer shown as a lifecam, but as a Vimicro USB 2.0 Pc Camera (Venus)...i tried updating drivers and reinstalling lifecam software...but on the vx-800 page there's no link to the drivers and it doesn't work with reinstalling.

the device is recognized by the pc, but with the wrong name and i can't use it as a "microphone" like i did before.

Please help me

Marco
