I need help please!
My friend just installed a game on my laptop. The whole process of installation was smooth. But when I tried to run the game, there's an error message that says "The program can't start because XINPUT1_3.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem".
My laptop is Dell and he has HP. We both have the same i3 processor, system type, and windows edition but he plays the game on his laptop without having any trouble.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game but I still have the same problem. What should I do to fix this? Please help!

Try installing DirextX Runtime June 2010... It is a package of optional DirectX files that a lot of games use...
I'm including a link that will start a download of the full package from Microsoft.
The file is self extracting so take note of where it extracts to.
Then open the folder and double click DXSETUP to install...
The file you are missing is part of this package...

Xinput1_3.dll issues are caused in one way or another by an issue with Microsoft DirectX.
The xinput1_3.dll file is one of many files contained in the DirectX software collection. Since DirectX is utilized by most Windows based games and advanced graphics programs, xinput1_3.dll errors usually show up only when using these programs.
Windows 8 contains Xinput1_4.dll which is advance version of DirectX 11. You can also try installing the DirectX from the game DVD.
The latest DirectX version from Microsoft doesn't fix the xinput1_3.dll error you're receiving, look for a DirectX installation program on your game or application CD or DVD. Usually, if a game or other program utilizes DirectX, the software developers will include a copy of DirectX on the installation disc. Sometimes, though not often, the DirectX version included on the disc is a better fit for the program.
If you are able to find Xinput1_3.dll file from game DVD, you can copy paste the file to this location to fix the issue.

DirectX is built in to Windows and can't be uninstalled.

Sniper Elite V2. I think he just downloaded it.
Mr Yakub, I also checked the version of my DirectX, it's DirectX 11. I have 8.1 Single Language edition.
