    Hi,

The Code 10 error is mainly related to hardware and device driver issues or to compatibility issues between hardware drivers and additional software that is installed in Windows. Therefore, we recommend that you troubleshoot these issues by focusing on device drivers, on device configuration issues, and on hardware compatibility issues.

Fix: "This device cannot start" Code 10 error in Device Manager in Windows (Also applies to Windows 8)

    Hope this helps.

In these last days I was trying your suggestions.

    Method 1: nothing.

    Method 2: nothing.

I've installed the Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver Version6.0.1.5548 A provided by HP (for windows vista) and used the compatibility mode and also nothing.

and about this: Get your apps and devices working in Windows 8.1, I've checked  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=314080 and used and also I cannot fix it.

Current error: Code 10 - request not compatible

OFF Topic:  also I was looking the drivers provided by windows (already mentioned in the first post), well these drivers are hard, I only can see the information but there are not downloads.

    a. Press Windows Key + X, choose Device Manager.

    b. Expand the audio Adapters.

    c. Right-click on the audio card driver and click on Uninstall.

    d. Restart the computer and check.

Refer this article: Download and install drivers

Method 2: There is no Windows 8 drivers provided by HP support, click on this link:
