Hi !
I have a sony vaio SVE14112EN laptop (Windows 7 64bit). How to access bios setting manually? I tried DEL and F11 but none worked. It simply opened Boot Manager.
The laptop has a utility built in- Vaio Care. There is an option to boot into the Bios settings. On clicking it the laptop restarts and full Bios settings are displayed. I want to do it manually on computer startup.

See if this assists you:
Enter a password if it has already been set.
The BIOS setup screen appears. If the screen does not appear, restart the computer and try again.
Other advice says to press F2 and hold.
Normally it gives you the information at Boot on what Key to press at the bottom of the screen momentarily.
It is called Setup or BIOS; look for either..
