Hi,

I bought a usb keyboard Zebronics ZEB-K09B into 2.0 usb port on my toshiba l850-b200. After connecting is says that the device driver is not successfully installed. When going to the device manager and trying to install it from there it shows code 28 and its says

"USB Composite Device

Access is denied" .

I even try through cmd to scan for any errors but doesn't work out. Also I tried copying and pasting the usbstor files from windows system32 to the system32 info but in vain. I have updated my usb driver too.

I tried with the Microsoft Fix it. It detected the problem too but it could not fix the issue.

Please help me

Thanks

    Try this:

    1.  Go into a command prompt.

    Start > Type CMD

Right click on CMD and select Run As Administrator

    2.  type “set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

    3.  Press Enter

    4.  Type “devmgmt.msc”

    5.  Press Enter

Once device manager has loaded, go to View, Show Hidden Devices.

Look for “greyed out” old devices and network cards that you can remove.

    Reboot and retry keyboard

    Hi Meval,

Have you connected any external USB devices when trying to uninstall the USB controllers?  If yes, please remove them and try to uninstall USB controllers.

If that does not help, you can go to Toshiba website and check for chipset driver and USB driver updates.

    Hi,

Thanks for the help. Although when I tried uninstalling the USB controllers, it says:

''Cannot uninstall this device because its descendants refused the request. This can happen if the device's descendants are required to boot up the computer."

I rebooted the computer but still in vain. See if you could help me with this problem!

    Thanks
