    If there are drivers available they would be on the UMAX support site.  I checked there and that model is not shown for the US and Canada support site but may be shown by selecting your country in the "Worldwide Support" list at the right of the following screen:  http://www.umax.com/support/index.jsp

    how can i install umax astra 5600 scanner in window7 os?

    Use the program compatibility to install the TWAIN driver software from the UMAX SCANNER DIRVER CD. And also after installing change the Program compatibility to windows 2000. Then connect the scanner and double click on the scanner in the notification area. Then scan and enjoy.
