And when running the Uninstaller doesn't work ( it still shows up in my system tray after uninstall) what can I do after that.
Help to get rid of the Iminent Virus
My grandson has picked up the Iminent virus on his Toshiba laptop.
Have tried to uninstall without success
Have tried to do a restore, again without success
It has also affected the AVG on his system, tells us it is trying to uninstall but does not
Any help please

2014-02-22T21:24:43+00:00 We have been able to remove this from everything BUT the manage add-ons menu. When I click on it both the enable and disable buttons are nullified and unresponsive to imminent. All I did was upgrade my Java and now it's on everything. We have removed as much as we can but it's like Knotweed and the root is undeletable. It remains on my online accounts and when it first surfaced none of my online accounts recognised my passwords which I have had to reset. I don't want to go to my internet banking because I am unsure if this info has been hacked into by imminent. What do I do now?

2014-02-19T01:46:55+00:00 Your advice does not help. I have Windows 7. Iminent does not appear in my list of programs to uninstall. Also, if I go to google, tools, estensions, nothing shows for Iminent. Yet I am plagued by Iminent. Can you help? My email: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
