Folks this thread is not answered, please unmark the thread above as answered.

I am a Microsoft employee and I share the same pain, the blue Fn keys are not explained and documented anywhere! Can you please provide a quick explanation of what each key does? Some are pretty self-explanatory (F1-F6) but from F7 to F12 are not easy to understand...

Most of those blue functions on the Sculp Ergonomic Keyboard don't work in Windows 7. It seems you need Windows 10 (or perhaps Windows 8/8.1?). This review lists their actions in Windows 10: http://www.techrepublic.com/article/using-the-microsoft-sculpt-ergonomic-desktop-in-windows-10/

    Left side of keyboard

    • Home
    • Windows 10 Task View
    • Desktop Left, when running multiple Windows 10 virtual desktops. Equivalent to Windows+Ctrl+Left Arrow
    • Desktop Right, when running multiple Windows 10 virtual desktops. Equivalent to Windows+Right Arrow
    • Cortana/Search
    • Share (e.g. to email, onenote)

    Right side of keyboard

    • Connect (for Projecting To This PC)
    • Windows Settings. Equivalent to Windows+I
    • Play/Pause
    • Mute/Unmute
    • Volume down
    • Volume up
