Hmm, changing to those settings didn't change much. Would it be better to update using the Windows Updat, or to download and install from a developer's website?
"The Default Gateway is Not Available" - Constant Disconnections
I have asked this before, and am still having problems with this for 4 months now. I have, within the last 6 months, updated to Windows 8.1 from Windows. I have a NV52L15u, connecting to a ActionTec Verizon Router using a Broadcom 802.11n Wireless Adapter. Until the last 4 months, I have had stable wireless internet, which I use for various gaming programs. Now, I am constantly kicked from my Wireless Internet Connection, changing from "Connected" to "Limited" status under Network Connections. Running a diagnosis fixes the problem, labeled as "The default gateway is not available". However, the problem swiftly returns. I have gone through all of the Microsoft articles, hoping to get this problem fixed, but no results. This is a serious issue, I can barely get between 10-15 minutes of "connection" before getting abruptly kicked off of my family's Wireless Connection.

2014-05-12T04:53:19+00:00 First go to power management options and set all wireless settings (battery and AC) to "maximum performance"
Then follow my Broadcom recommended advanced settings (for any Broadcom models though some options may not appear on your device settings and some of your settings won't appear on mine such as afterburner which should be set to disabled for stability IMO):
20/40 Coexistance -> Auto
40MHz intolerant -> disabled
802.11ac VHT Mode -> 3
802.11h+d -> Loose 11h
802.11n Preamble -> Auto
Antenna Diversity -> Auto
AP Compatibility Mode -> Higher Performance
ARP Offload -> Enabled
Association Roam Preference -> Disabled
Band Preference -> None
Bandwidth Capability -> 11a/b/g:20/40MHz
BeamForming -> Enabled
Bluetooth Collaboration -> Auto
BSS PLCP Header -> Auto (Short/Long)
BT-AMP -> Enabled
Disable Bands -> None
Disable Upon Wired Connect -> Disabled
Fragmentation Threshold -> 2346
IBSS 54g(tm) Protection Mode -> Auto
IBSS Mode -> 802.11a/b/g/n Auto
Locally Administered MAC Address -> Not Present
Minimum Power Consumption -> Disabled
Mixed Cell Support -> Disabled
NS Offload -> Enabled
Power Output -> 100%
Priority & VLAN -> Priority & VLAN Disabled
Rate (802.11a) -> Best Rate
Rate (802.11b/g) -> Best Rate
Roam Tendency -> Auto
Roaming Decision -> Auto
RTS Threshold -> 2347
Short GI -> Auto
Wake on Magic Packet -> Enabled
Wake on Pattern Match -> Enabled
WiFi Rekeying Offload -> Enabled
WMM -> Auto
WZC IBSS Channel Number -> 11(20MHz)
XPress (TM) Technology -> Enabled
Broadcom sure loves to give users that much tweaking lol. Anyways I don't experience that default gateway not found problem with those settings above. WiFi is 100% stable. Also, your drivers might be outdated so download the latest WiFi drivers from your manufacturer

2014-05-03T21:55:41+00:00 You ignored the part where I said "I have gone through all of the Microsoft articles, hoping to get this problem fixed, but no results."
