Windows 7 Pro Internet Drivers problem (32 bit)

Hi,

After having to buy and format my laptop with windows 7, I noticed I couldn't connect to the internet. So far, the internet drivers that I've tried to install won't install, as I get a message saying "No intel drivers are installed."

I've also checked to see what internet devices are present, and my computer detects all three as "problem devices" Here they are:

Ethernet Controller PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_2060&SUBSYS_04571028&REV_C1\4&29C7CA84&0&00E5 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Network Controller PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_00101028&REV_01\4&D0BBF38&0&00E1 The drivers for this device are not installed.

PCI Simple Communications Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&SUBSYS_04571028&REV_06\3&11583659&0&B0 The drivers for this device are not installed.

However, I can't seem to find their drivers. Help?

Thanks a ton.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Community Forum.

I would like to know some information about the issue so that we could assist you further.

    1. Which windows came preinstalled on the computer?

    2. What is the make and model number of the computer?

    3. Do you get any error code number while installing drivers?

If you are unable to find the drivers on laptop manufacturer website then we can download the drivers from device manufacturer website. I tried to find the drivers from vendor id and device id for the device.

    http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=CXW91

    Step 3:

Download the PCI Simple Communications Controller driver from Intel website.

Run the Intel driver update utility from Intel website.

    Hi,

The computer didn't come pre-installed with anything, I had recently bought a hard drive and had formatted it with a disc consisting of windows 7 pro.

The make is a Dell Inspiron, and its model is N7010.

I haven't gotten any number codes in the error messages, only that the driver's weren't installed.

    Thanks.
