I wish to give me a realtek rtl8187 wireless 802.11b/g 54mbps usb 2.0 network adapter driver on windows 8 and 8.1, because I can't find it. please!!!!

    Hi,

    There are no drivers available for Realtek RTL8187 model for Windows 8 at Realtek website.

    But, you can download the driver for Windows 7 or Windows Vista and install it in Windows Compatibility mode. Refer to the link to download the driver:

    Note: While downloading, choose the appropriate model and then download the required driver for the Windows 7.

    After the download is complete, follow the steps to install the driver in Windows Compatibility mode:

    • Locate the folder that has the .exe file for the driver. Right Click on the setup file and click on Properties.
    • Go to Compatibility tab and check the box which states “Run this program in compatibility mode for”.
    • Select the Windows 7 (or the version of Windows for which the driver is downloaded) from the drop down list. Click on Apply and then on OK.
    • Double Click on the setup file and follow the onscreen instructions to install the driver.
