@ in the sticks,
Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I've merged all three threads.
@jidaungill,
What you can do providing your hard drive is large enough is dual boot Windows XP with Windows 7.

When referring to Windows XP 2007 Professional are you saying you installed Microsoft Office 2007 on Windows XP Professional system?
Windows 7 drivers are for Windows 7 units. Windows XP is an older platform and as in the sticks statedyou may end up messing up your system. You can however install a Windows XP driver to Windows 7 using compatibility mode. Windows XP Mode and Microsoft Virtual PC from Microsoft.com are provided free on a Windows 7
Windows Virtual PC supports the following Host and Guest Operating systems:
- Host: Windows 7 Home Basic, Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 7 Enterprise.
- Guest: Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) Professional, Windows Vista Enterprise Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 7 Enterprise.
Note: Virtual application feature not supported on Windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows 7 Professional edition.
A lot of older hardware and software that worked with Microsoft Windows XP will no longer function under Windows 7 because of some fundamental changes to the Windows operating system. Although many manufacturers have released updated drivers, some have failed to update their software for compatibility with Windows 7.
