Another download link but it's not an .iso
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24
Open Microsoft Update Catalog > Type SP3 XP
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=SP3%20XP%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20
Did you follow the steps on installing SP3 .iso
Hello,
I believe this is what you're looking for.
Windows XP Service Pack 3 - ISO-9660 CD Image File
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25129
The computer does not recognize the disk (Wrote it to a disk) as a compatible installation disk.
I guess that is not the right file. But thank you for providing the link.
Although Smittychat gave you the correct link for downloading a Windows XP sp3 ISO file, you should know that there's absolutely no reason to do that. All you need is the sp3 executable file: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24 (which is only a little more than half the size of the ISO file, if you happen to have a less-than-superfast Internet connection).
If you're unsure of the steps you need to take prior to installing service pack 3, just ask.
