Follow these steps:
a. Close all instances of Eraser on your computer.
b. Right click on the Eraser icon on the system tray and close it.
c. Then right click on the Eraser shortcut and select “Run as administrator”.

there is a program called eraser that i have been trying to run but it doesn't have the permissions. i tried running it as an administrator but it still doesn't work. :( can someone please help me out.!!?? (just to let you know my account is the administrator).

Even though you close Eraser, and even though you check the Task Manager Applications Tab and Eraser does not appear to be running, it is still running in the background.
You have to go to the Processes Tab in Task Manager and end the program, then Run as Administrator.
