Hello!
The problem I have is the sensitivity of the mouse when clicking and not the speed(acts as if I double-clicked when I only single clicked.) It could be a driver problem or something but I'm not sure.
Thank you for the reply!

OT: Tablet/Mouse glitch?
Hello! I have a problem that I've been experiencing for quite a while now. (2~3 months)
My mouse has been acting up and is too sensitive. For example, when I click once, it acts as if I had double-clicked. It opens the folder instead of highlighting the folder. When I click on a Youtube video to pause it, it gets full-screened instead. Another example is that when I close a window, it also closes the window behind it. I have tried changing Double-click speed in Mouse properties, but no luck. Is there any other way I can fix this problem without buying a new mouse?
Also, this happened along with my Wacom Bamboo Tablet's case. Normally, it would have pressure, but when I switch user and logged in again, it loses the pressure. I can only gain it back if I close and reopen the art program that I was using. (not the program's fault, this applies to any other programs I tested.)
I use Windows 7 x64. Any other information needed can be provided. Thank you for any assistance!

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us at Microsoft Community.
This issue seems to be related to Mouse sensitivity, I would request you to reduce the mouse sensitivity and check if that helps.
To change the mouse sensitivity, do the following:
a. Click on the Start menu and click on Control panel
b. Wait for the Control Panel menu to open and then locate the "Search Control Panel" bar at the top of the menu on the right-hand side. Type in "mouse" (no quote marks) in the window and locate the mouse menu at the top, left side of the menu.
c. Locate the link that says "Change Button Settings" at the bottom of the mouse menu and click on the link. When the mouse properties window appears, locate the tabs at the top of the window and find the one that says "Pointer Options."
d. Click on the "Pointer Options" window tab and locate the heading that says "Motion." In the Motion section, find the slide adjustment bar that is labeled "Slow" on the left side and "Fast" on the right side of the bar.
e. Move the bar according to your desired speed and preferences, and click on the "Apply" button on the lower right-hand side of the window.
f. Click the "OK" button on the lower left-hand side of the window, which will take you back to the default window. Verify that the mouse sensitivity is according to your needs and readjust if necessary by repeating these steps.

Hi,
Thanks for the information. I have tried the suggestion, but it didn't work.
Hello,
Thank you for writing back to us.
I would like to inform you that sensitivity of a mouse is independent of the device drivers. As the drivers are responsible only for running the device, not for the way how it functions.
Did you try following the suggestions as provided in the earlier post?
Please get back to us with the status of the issue, we'll be glad to help you further.
