Intel Turbo Boost Technology Monitor 2.0 stopped working

What does this mean and why do I need it.  There are no instructions on how to restart the Intel Turbo Boost Technology Monitor 2.0

The program indicator shows up on my screen and will not delete nor will it move to another position.  AND, it will not close. What's UP?

    Hello,

    Were there any changes (hardware or software) made to the computer prior to the issue?

    Method 1: Perform the steps from the article mentioned below and check whether the issue persists.

    I tried just about everything then started poking around.

    Here's what I found worked:

    1. Click Start
    2. type services.msc
    3. Scroll to Intel(T) Turbo Boost....
    4. Click to open to another window.
    5. This will open the properties menu.
    6. In the general tab, select "automatic" for start up type.
    7. Click the Log on  tab; select "Local System Account" and the "Allow services to interact with the desktop.
    8. Under the recovery tab, you can set this to however you want it.
    9. Leave the dependencies tab alone. It should have "Remote Procedures Call (RPC).
    10. Start the service under the general tab.

    Voila! The Monitor should work.
