Never mind. I found a solution finally here - http://www.thewindowsclub.com/failed-to-read-description-error-code-2
Just for the record (I'm looking at you Microsoft), your Customer Service SUCKS! Always has, I have never......NEVER found a solution on Microsoft's forums. They offer plenty of advice but really it's never anything more than you can find yourself elsewhere on the website. It is just regurgitated by a forum administrator here onto the forums, much like you would get when you call into many big organizations customer service by phone (i.e. some average Joe and not an actual technical expert, reading troubleshooting info off a screen). And even though people always report the problem as not resolved you never hear anything back. What a bunch of **** (and by that I mean the Microsoft "big-wigs", not the people they hire to do the forums and phone service since they are honest hard working people but the corporate jerk offs who know it is a game of numbers and only worry about the bottom line - i.e. too much money to actually pay people who know the inner workings of the product they are selling to do the troubleshooting versus the pay off (customer satisfaction). The days of companies not having to worry about having good customer service are coming to an end and I couldn't be happier about it.
I quite agree Microsoft never gets to the bottom of my windows problems either and inevitably have to work it out myself. Just about to try another system restore, can't change my account details, access the "store" live tiles don't work, it's driving me nuts
