I have a problem that makes me want to see the history as I run tests.

History remains empty and the tab indicates that it is disabled.

In the Task Scheduler look at the window at the right under "Actions" and you will see an entry to enable all task history.

If you check the properties of a recently created task and notice that “History” is disabled, you can enable it. Close the tasks properties, then highlight “Task Scheduler” and then click on “Action” above, you will then see “Enable All Tasks History”. Once this option has been clicked, you will then be able to see history of any and all tasks created.

I am not sure if this is the same thing but I went to "Task Scheduler (Local)" and found, on the right side of the screen, a list of options.  One of which is "Enable all asks History"

I am not sure what your second paragraph says.  "Close the tasks properties"?

I do not see "Task Scheduler" but I do have "Task Scheduler (Local)" and "Task Scheduler Library".  I did see "Action" in the "Task Scheduler (Local)" tab.

I did not see anything labeled as "properties" but, again, clicking on "Task Scheduler (Local)" I fixed the problem.
