Connect to USB port and the PC does not recognize the connection.  Can connect other devices to that USB port.

I have Windows 7 Home version.  Try different USB ports and got same result.

    Hi Donald,

    1)      What is the status of the device in device manager?

    2)      Did you try connecting to other computers?

I would suggest you to download and install the latest software for Nike Fuel band from the manufacturer’s website and check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, try contacting the manufacturer support regarding this issue.

If you have any Windows related query, feel free to post. We will be glad to assist you.

    Cannot connect Nike FuelBand

This a not really a reply but, I have the same problem.

I am not an expert but I tried some solutions without any success. What I can tell, for me, I think this is an issue of Microsoft DRIVERS.

I am a french canadian from Québec so you will excuse my English... trying my best.

I work with a Toshiba LapTop, Windows 7 French, Premium Family Edition.

I bought a Nike FuelBand SE, downloaded the Nike+ Connect application, run it and it freeze there without any explanation.

I wrote five emails to Nike Support but they are note able to resolve my problem. I did everything they were asking me to do but failed. I hope the Microsoft Community will help.

I insist on a DRIVER problem because I asked a friend to put the application on his PC/Laptop that is a ASUS with the same configuration... everything when OK at first attempt. We compared some of our Drivers properties and we saw a minor difference on one driver but then we do not know if it could be the problem since properties were telling that this peripheral (USB) was working properly.

I sincerely hope that someone will help me to resolve my problem.

The problem with this is the Nike support staff says this is a Microsoft issue and now Microsoft says it's a Nike support issue.  It can't be both.

    Gilles,

I have the same issue.  My FuelBand SE will not connect to Nike + Connect program when plugged into any USB port.  Other Nike products do  work and call the correct Nike + program.  I worked with Nike support and Microsoft to no avail.  I have tried updating my Windows 7 with the latest and all updates.  Again no results with the Fuel Band.  The Fuel Band works on other PC running Win 7 home prem. SP 1.  And also on my other PC  running Win 8.1.  My prior Fuel Band worked fine on this old PC.   Sorry I don't have a solution for you.  Stacy W.
