Hello guys..!!!

I had been using from last 4 monts and faced many minor issues.

But, this time all three capacitive buttons stopped working. Phones looks like paralysed from bottom. However, touch screen is working as usual.

I have done soft reset many times and hard reset once also.

Though, I am going to submitt my phone to NOKIA CARE today evening.

Guys, who have faced the same issue, please share your experience.

What it is because of ? What are the alternate salutions or tricks?

Same problem here only capacitve button not working ...so far i have found something i.e. in settings>touch> if i put it in normal sensitivity capacitive buttons don't work at all but if in high sensitivity mode it works sometimes practically ( touch very smoothly and gently over buttons like just touch*)

so it may be an bug

nokia fix it soon Lumia 720

I have facing same with 720. This is a really painful. I don't get any solution from Nokia care and i never think Nokia will give any solution because company's moto is sell phone rather than make customer happy after purchase. So i decide to buy a Android phone and say good bye to worst lumia .

Definitely not a bug. Do you have Nokia Black running on your handset and have you installed the latest Glance and Touch system app updates ?

I tried each and every thing, software recovery tool, installed the updates glance, tried normal as well as high sensitivity touch but nothing in the world seems to have changed the non responsive capacitive touch.Sorry to even say that I what the nokia care treats a customer with petty charges(phone to be checked by technician, got charged 50 bucks, then they came out witht the handset and showed me a quotation of 450 bucks for software issue, so technician will reinstall the software,AL THIS WHEN THE HANDSET IS BARELY 7 MONTHS OLD,UNDER WARRANTY) were the most annoying things. And i suspect that the company is in a good spirit to let it's faithful customers like us to go openly and dent their image.I was planning to upgrade my phone to 1520 but things turned out for me in the in an eye-opner way.Although I am not expecting any feedback call from any of the Nokia employee after all what i've written, but would see if any one from the company can turn up and claim on their behalf to just admit that the culprit is the phone, and definitely not the end-u

    Hi Paramour/admin/moderator,

this is the second time it had happenend to me. Earlier also the capacitive touch screen stopped working , but that time it was under warranty so the nokia care people changed the display and it had been sorted out.

Now the issue had refurbished again. Events of the series are as follows:--

--On Friday I updated with Lumia Denim,

--On Sunday evening I felt some problem in the touch buttons below (back, search and windows)

and found them as not frequently responsive as they used to be before.

-- On finding the same issues online, I first soft reset it.

--Then shut down mobile for whole sunday night.

--On monday morning I backed up the applications somehow.

--then shut it down, took out the simcard & sd card and did a hard reboot.

    --Nothing had changed since then.

Then I went to microsoft forum for online support and had a chat with a CSR who asked me to check with nearby nokia care rep.

Today Morning I went there. There straight answer was have to change the display completely and will cost 7200 bucks as my ph. is out of warranty period.

I replied them as the ph. hasn't been fallen, or had no contact with any water/liquid and neither any alterationswhich if they wish, can verify.

They kept on saying that its out of warranty and they can't do anything.

My question is are you guys a branded company or a chinese kinda mobile maker who makes stuffs to sustain only for an year.

It's your update that I think had brought this condition.

Till date I always had a Nokia cellph. supported and also was branded as a windows/ lumia mobile advertiser among my colleagues.

Now seriously, 7200 bucks, for no fault of mine.

    plz reply.
