All is pink screen in Windows Photo Viewer(not Photo app) :(

When I used Windows Photo Viewer(I'm using Windows 8.1) for preview my pics, it can't preview my pics and all it's pink screen. How I gonna fix this problem? Can anybody help me?

Note: My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 220. I have already updated latest version my graphics driver.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

Refer to these methods I the order in which they are presented and check the issue status.

Set the “sRGB IEC61966-2.1” as a default and check the issue status****

  1. Press Windows and X keys together,
  2. Go to Control Panel then Hardware and Sound then Color Management.
  3. Select your display device.
  4. Check the box “Use my setting for this device”.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Choose “sRGB IEC61966-2.1”
  7. Set it as default.

If the issue still pesters, refer to the following suggestion.

Run the DISM tool and check if that helps in fixing the issue.

Refer to “Run the DISM tool” section. Please ignore the thread title.

As a work around, I would suggest you to create a new user account and check the issue status in the new user account. This will helps us to diagnose the issue

Hi Billy, 

Thank you for the detailed information. This issue might occur due to in-correct settings or corrupt display driver. Let’s refer to the following troubleshooting methods in the order in which they are presented  and check the issue status.

Method 1:

You have to remove the incorrect color profile. To do this, follow these steps:

a. Go to your desktop and right-click.

b. Select Personalize.

c. Select Display Settings.

d. Click on the Advanced Settings button.

e. Click on the Color Management Tab.

f. Click on the Color Management button.

g. Select your Display in the Device drop-down list.

Method 2:

As a work around, I would suggest you to uninstall the display driver from the device manager, restart the computer and check the issue status.

a. Press Windows and X keys together.

b. Click on Device Manager.

c. Locate and Expand the Display Adapter driver.

d. Right Click on the Display Device.

e. Click on Uninstall.

f. Restart the computer after the successful uninstallation of Display Device.

If the issue still persists, download and install latest display driver by downloading from the computer’s manufacturer’s website and check the issue status.

    When I found this link, I tried to fix it with this link for step-by-step and it works!!! Thanks for my god!

    Sorry for my late response. I'm afraid my graphics driver will lost latest version of data. And even my monitor is Philips 190SW, have driver software with approved by Microsoft. Hope will understand.
