·         What is the make and model of the computer?

·         Was it working fine before? If so, were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

·         Do you get any error message?

Follow these methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try using the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to fix the problem.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to run the Microsoft fixit tool and check if it helps:

Method 3:

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Logitech Webcam Software and drivers. Refer this Logitech website to download the latest drivers and software for Windows 7:

    I installed the Logitech HD Webcam C525 , use windows 7, and downloaded the latest version of skype.

    Camera works fine, everything installed correctly ( wiring wise), But every time I click on Skype it says " Can not detect an internet connection".

    I definitely have an internet connection. Anyone else have this issue, or is it a Skype issue?

    I am having the same problem. My fix. After system has finished booting up unplug camera(usb connector) Then plug back in. Suddenly the camera works???? I do this every time I turn on my Windows 8.1 computer.

    I've got the C525 as well, model V-U0023.  The driver loads just fine, and I can use the camera in the windows 8.1 "Camera" metro app, but Skype fails to load the camera.  Skype recognizes that the camera exists, but just fails to load the video.

    I've tried forcing the Logitech driver, and allowing windows to install the driver automatically.  Both produce the same result.
