How to save drivers when you reinstall windows7

When I recently reinstalled windows 7 on my Toshiba laptop. I had a hard time getting drivers back for the modem. Toshiba teck support was no although,, tthre laptop was under arranty,please reply to ******@gmail.com

    Hi Paul,

    In Windows 7 all the drivers will be in subfolders located in the system folders. Please follow the steps below to save the drivers onto a storage device:

    1. Choose a storage device for backing up your drivers.
    2. Locate the driver on your computer by following the path:

                 %SystemRoot%\System32\ and %systemroot%\inf\

    1. Copy the driver file onto the storage device by simply clicking on the icon for your driver file and dragging it to the location of your storage device.

    You can also go ahead and download the drivers from the Toshiba Website and save it on an External

    device or flash drive. Please refer the link below to download the drivers:
