    Hello,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Minecraft - Pocket Edition is designed for Windows 8.1 phones. In case of tablets, I would suggest you to search the Windows Store provided in the Windows 8.1 tablet you have and check if you are able to find the Minecraft - Pocket Edition.

If you are able to find the Pocket Edition on the Windows 8.1 tablet, then it will certainly get installed on your tablet and will work as you are using it on your phone.

Hope the information is helpful. Keep us updated with the status of the issue for further assistance, we'll be glad to assist you.

Hi, the Minecraft Pocket Edition is not in the windows store for my tablet.

    When will it be available?

    Thanks.

If you've got an 8.1 tablet, rather than a WinRT tablet, the version of Minecraft you need already exists. Just buy and download the regular Windows version. It'll work just fine.

What I think people need to realise is that Windows 8.1 tablets run full Windows 8.1. It's the same kind of OS used on desktop PCs.

If you really can't wait, you can buy the full version from minecraft.net and play that. It needs a keyboard and mouse, but aside from that it's the only version of Minecraft for windows tablets, and it's got much more features and a larger user base than Pocket Edition.
